Amanda is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by The American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Spanish Literature from the University of Arizona. She then obtained a Master’s in Education from Northern Arizona University. Amanda went back to school for Nursing through Pima Community College and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing through Northern Arizona University.
Amanda enjoys the breadth and depth of Family Medicine. She loves knowing a little bit of everything, learning and applying something new every day. Amanda is passionate about diabetes patients. She has family members with diabetes and knows first-hand the burden this chronic condition is for the patient and the family.
When she is not working, Amanda enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and attending U of A basketball and football games.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
