Ana Tanase, M.D., FAAP, ABOIM, FAIHM is board-certified in pediatrics and integrative medicine. She graduated from the Carol Davila School of Medicine, in Bucharest, Romania and completed a residency at the Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ.
As a pediatrician, Ana enjoys the privilege of interacting with patients of all ages from newborns to young adults and feels that it is an honor to watch them grow and achieve their potential. Her goal is to provide holistic care to patients focusing on the whole person and not just the acute problem. She also completed and integrative medicine fellowship with Academy of Integrative Medicine and Health and passed the Integrative Board exam in 2019.
Ana enjoys primary care as it provides the opportunity to be involved in a variety of health and wellness conversations with her patients, allowing her to help guide families in the right direction. As an integrative pediatrician, she is interested in other treatment modalities and keeps an open mind on controversial topics like vaccines, chemical exposures, and nutrition challenges.
When not working Ana enjoys nature, photography, reading and learning from her own children that parenting is one of the most difficult, but rewarding, jobs in life.
