She has been in pediatric practice for over ten years after completing residency training in pediatrics. She pursued two-year fellowship training in integrative medicine with the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine and graduated in 2019. She became board certified in Integrative Medicine in 2019 by the American Board of Integrative Medicine. She has been part of the Oro Valley Pediatrics team for over eight years and enjoys serving families of all different backgrounds.
Her goal is to provide holistic care to patients focusing on the whole person and not just the surface problem. Dr. Tanase enjoys primary care as it provides her the opportunity to be involved in a variety of health and wellness conversations with her patients, allowing her to help guide families in the right direction. As an integrative pediatrician, she is interested in other treatment modalities and keeps an open mind on controversial topics like vaccines, chemical exposures, and nutrition challenges. She accepts state and private insurance.
