I was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and grew up in Southern California. I got my undergraduate degree in Biology from Arizona State University, my graduate degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and my medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. I also worked as a research fellow at the University of Florida and the National Cancer Institute, studying cancer-related health behaviors, obesity, metabolic disorders, and healthcare disparities.
As a family medicine doctor, I hope to provide long-term and wide-ranging care, focusing on both individual and community health. My goal is to offer proactive, complete care, especially in underserved areas.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling (including spontaneous road trips), playing basketball and tennis, watching movies, reading fiction novels, and visiting art museums.
