Why I Chose Medicine
I chose Primary Care because I like building strong relationships with my patients. I enjoy helping them stay healthy throughout their lives. I’m excited to see patients every day because each visit is different—I never know what to expect! That keeps things interesting and helps me learn something new all the time.

My Education Journey
After high school, I joined the U.S. Army and worked as a Combat Medic for 3 years. Then, I served 6 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Flight Nurse on C-130 planes.
I also worked for 18 years as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU, ER, and Dialysis. I learned so much during that time.
In 2017, I became a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. Since then, I’ve worked in Urgent Care, Radiology, Hospital Care, and Family Medicine.

Fun Facts About Me
I want my patients to know I won’t always give medicine for every issue. I believe good food and exercise can help you stay healthy and avoid some medications. I’m honest and like to keep things simple. I always explain things in a way that’s easy to understand.

Fun fact: My “kids” have paws—I love my dogs!
In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, target shooting, doing home projects, flying small airplanes, and learning new things on YouTube.

What to Expect as My Patient
At your first few visits, I’ll take time to listen and learn about your health. I’ll probably order some lab work to see how your body is doing overall. You can also expect some humor—I believe laughter is good medicine, and it doesn’t come with side effects!
