Emerson has been in Obstetrics and Women’s health since 1999. He started in High-Risk Ante-Partum (pregnancy) and then moved to Labor and Delivery. He completed his Midwifery (MSN) training from Frontier Nursing University in January of 2021 and completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in June of 2024. Prior to that, he practiced as a full-scope Midwife in New Mexico. Emerson is the father of six, three girl and three boys. Emerson especially loves involving fathers in perinatal care, from the first office visit to the birth.
