Stephanie Ortiz, FNP-C, is a caring and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who helps people of all ages stay healthy. She graduated with honors from Grand Canyon University in 2024 and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Stephanie worked as a registered nurse in emergency medicine, helping patients with serious medical problems in the Tucson area. She also taught nursing students at Carrington College, where she guided future nurses.
With a deep passion for family medicine and whole-person care, Stephanie has a special interest in weight management, women’s health, diabetes care, and functional medicine. She believes in treating both the body and mind and works closely with her patients to make health decisions together. She also supports teamwork between different types of health care providers to give the best care possible and wants to help make healthcare fair for everyone in her community.
Outside of work, Stephanie is a loving wife to an Arizona National Guard servicemember and a proud mom of two active boys. She enjoys being outdoors, going camping, and taking family trips to the lake. Her love for her family and community inspires everything she does.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
